Transparent LED
Transparent LED is a type of LED screen with gaps between the rows of LEDs. You can see through it when it is showing content. Images appear to float over whatever is behind the screen, such as a product, a shop interior or a stand.
It is not laser holography. It is a see-through screen.
Hologram Hire is an independent enquiry-referral service - not a hire company. We pass your enquiry to a hire supplier who quotes, contracts and invoices you directly.
What it is good for
- Shop windows, where you want content without blocking the view into the store
- Exhibition stands with a product display behind the screen
- Stage backdrops and event sets
- Glass atriums and reception areas
Things to know before you enquire
- Size. Transparent LED is built from panels, so it can be made in many sizes. Give us a rough width and height.
- Brightness. Some panels are bright enough for shop windows. Ask the supplier about daylight and outdoor use.
- Mounting. Panels can be hung, floor-stood or fixed behind glass. Tell us what your space allows.
- Content. Dark areas in the content show as clear. Bright areas show as image. Ask the supplier for content guidance.
- Power and control. The screen needs mains power and a control system. The supplier will advise.
